In Italy 75% of the weight of the steel packagings on the market is recovered (almost 3 packagings out of 4). Moreover iron and steel can be re-used endlessly without loosing any of their properties.
Spray bottles with dangerous product symbols on the label must not be put into steel bins. Food leftovers have to be removed from the containers.
WHAT IT BECOMES
The utilisations of the iron scraps obtained from the recycling of the steel packagings are many and, in most cases, not completely evident, as an item obtained from recycled steel is identical to those obtained from iron.
