WHAT YOU CAN PUT INSIDE THE BIN

Food leftovers, fruit and vegetables waste

Gardening rubbish and little plants

Wood remains, toothpicks, cork (non synthetic) and small amounts of wooden boxes

Bio-shoppers (vegetal bags)

Used tissues, napkins, kitchen paper

RECYCLING

Substances of vegetal and animal origin that daily make up one third of the urban solid waste

The best way to dispose of the organic waste is to transform it, through the compost process, into a useful material that can actively contribute to a sustainable use of the resources and can reduce the use of the non-renewable resources, employed in the production of chemical fertilizers, reducing at the same time the amount of organic waste to be disposed.

The organic waste can turn into compost, a non-polluting natural fertilizer; the compost is produced in specialized plants.
